Add Trainers / Instructors to Your Classes

Available on the Fitune Free Forever, Fitune Pro, Fitune Plus, and Fitune Ultra plans.

What are trainers in Fitune and how do they benefit you?

Trainers in Fitune are the people assigned to lead classes or appointments. While they do not have access to the admin portal unless you allow it, they play a crucial role in giving visibility to your sessions. Highlighting trainers helps attract clients who prefer specific instructors, enhancing client satisfaction and class attendance.

How to add trainers

  1. Click on Settings and then choose Staff.
  2. Click on +New Staff.
  3. You will be directed to the Staff Profile page. Enter the staff name and click Save.

Optional: you can also give them their own admin access by clicking the Permissions tab. For more information: How to give access to your team

How to add trainers to your classes

  1. Go to Calendar and click on the class you want to add the trainer to.
  2. Click on the 3 dots next to the class name.
  3. Choose New Staff.
  4. Look for the trainer you want to add.
  5. Click Save.

 

How to add trainer availability

Trainer availability only applies to 1-on-1 appointments — it does not affect group class schedules.

  1. Go to Products.
  2. Click on Appointments.
  3. Select the service you need to update.
  4. Click on Staff Availability.
  5. Create a new staff member or edit an existing one's availability.
  6. Save.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

▶ Does trainer availability affect class scheduling? No. Trainer availability settings only impact 1-on-1 appointments, not group class schedules. For more information: Complete guide to 1-on-1 appointments

▶ How do I block a trainer's schedule for a specific day? Go to Calendar and add a date override following the steps in "How to add trainer availability." Once you select the appropriate dates, delete all time slots when they will not be available. This will prevent any classes or appointments from being booked during that period.

▶ Can trainers see their schedule in Fitune? Trainers do not have direct access to the admin portal unless access is granted.

▶ Can I assign multiple trainers to a single class? No. Currently only one trainer can be assigned per class.

▶ Does overriding a date cancel pending appointments? No. Appointments already booked are not cancelled even if the date is overridden after the appointment was scheduled.
